The Nintendo Switch is the latest system from Nintendo, the company that developed Mario Party and other games
It comes with a docking unit that does HDMI and power, a 6.2" tablet screen that is placed into the dock at home, but can be pulled out and taken on the go, with portions of the system's modular controller placed onto the sides of it
All the power for the system comes from the tablet, which will display at 720p, and it can be assumed that the docking unit will either upscale or render the games at 1080p on TVs
That's pretty much all the information there is about it, the rest will be announced on January 12th in advance of its release in March
That won't stop wild speculation, though, so have at it
